Initial consultation
During this stage we would find out what preconceived ideas you have. We would discuss the implications for your ideas in terms of time required and cost. We would also find out what materials you may have available on which to base a design. You may already have publicity materials or logos that you want to use as a starting point. Or you may want to use this as an opportunity to start afresh.
Initial design concepts
Working from the initial consultation we will develop some design concepts that will give you the opportunity to decide on the kind of look that you want for a website. You may have further suggestions or we may continue with one concept or a new one based on the best of more than one concept. These concepts would normally be in a graphical format, rather than a working web page.

Good planning is absolutely essential for the success of this kind of project. You will need to work through a number of stages to make sure you have everything in place.

Copy writing
One of the decisions that you will have to make is whether or not you will write your own copy. Copy writing will add to the overall cost of the website. We are able to write high quality copy or we can adapt copy from your existing materials so that it is suitable for use on your website. We would normally need all the copy ready before commencing on the website.
Implementation
Once we have a specification and all the required copy in place we will create the web site. We will ensure that each page is written to a high standard and the emphasis of all our sites is accessibility, clarity and ease of use. We will undertake the coding, prepare graphics, create navigation links and any special features required.
Testing and revisions
During this stage there will be opportunities for revisions and amendments. Typically there may be two rounds of revisions before the site is approved. As a final stage before handover we will upload a beta version of the website for your approval.
Publishing the site
Once the website is completed and approved it may be published. If you decide to use our management service we will host the site and be able to make changes within the scope of this service. Alternatively we may hand the site over to you and you will be responsible for maintaining the site.
